back in 2007?, when she started this blog, nicole lived and made stuff in tokyo, japan, a city in which you can buy anything for 100 yen. then she moved on to st. petersburg, florida where she was an artist in resident at st. pete clay company and lived the good life. she ventured off to philadelphia, pa to get some mentoring and then gainesville, fl as a postbac student at the university of florida (seriously, i lived in 4 different houses in the year 2010). finally, finally, she settled down, for three years, as a graduate student at UF. class of 2014 whoop whoop! after a brief stint as an adjunct at flagler college she, her two black cats, junior and violet, and her puerto rican snail, caracolla, took the long drive to their new home in olympia, washington and the new job as art studio tech at south puget sounds community college. also teaching at arbutus folk school!
